TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS / OTIS REDDING

I looked at the Fuchigami and Funato's gig at the first time yesterday.
The gig was started with this piece.
I was impressed very much.
The wonderfull voice and the contrabass. marvellous!
Instantly,I went back and listened Otis Redding's version.
It is saying... "Try a little tenderness".

昨日、｢ふちがみとふなと｣のライブを初めて観ました。
で、最初に演った曲がこれです。
背筋がぞくぞくする程、素晴らしい演奏でした。
驚くばかりの声とコントラバス。ほんとうに素晴らしい！
自宅に戻り、早速、オーティスのヴァージョンを聴いた次第です。
と言うことで．．．トライ・ア・リトル・テンダネス。

Township has been a area of black people residence during apartheid in south africa.
this album is a well documented history of township music between 1939-1981.
today's piece is a good humor ska riddim number "midnight ska" in this album.
of course, the saxophone harmonies could only be south african!
